Learn how to chop like a pro! Taught are knife sharpening basics, how to hold a knife, and the techniques to make the most mundane jobs a breeze!

Please bring your own knives to use for this class. A chef knife and paring knife will be needed but please feel free to bring your whole knife set.

Please reach out to inform us of any dietary restrictions at least 72 hours in advance. We will make accommodations when possible.

The class will begin at 6 pm but please arrive around 5:45 to enjoy a complimentary bite & drink before classes start.

Cost: $90 per ticket

Time: 5:45 pm arrival / 6 pm class begins

Class Length: 2 hours

Note: Classes are geared for 2 people per shared station (each person does need their own ticket, however). Students booking individually will be paired to work with a partner.

Classes are held at Braise Culinary School, located at Braise Restaurant, 1101 S. 2nd Street, Milwaukee, WI.

To purchase a class using a Braise gift card or gift certificate, please make your reservation directly via e-mail at school@braiselocalfood.com.

*A one-week (7 days) cancellation notice is required for a refund. No refunds or credits will be issued with less than one week’s cancellation. If you are unable to attend, you may send someone to replace your spot. If Braise must cancel a class for any reason, we will notify students in a timely manner and provide a full refund.
