FAQs
Q: When should I plan to host my dinner party?
A: You should plan to serve the meal you prepare within 48 hours of your class. For classes held on Friday evenings, students will often host a dinner party on Saturday or Sunday. For classes held on Saturday afternoons, Saturday or Sunday evening dinner parties are common.
Q: Is all of the prep & cooking done at Braise…or will I need to do some things at home.
A: You will do most of the prep & cooking at Braise, but expect that you’ll need about 90 minutes after you arrive home before your meal is ready to serve. Minimally, you’ll need to heat components (boil pasta, warm sauces)…and depending on the class you may grill or cook meat/fish. Rest assured, you’ll have all of the instructions needed to make this go smoothly.
Q: Will I need to prepare side dishes at home to accompany the meal?
A: Refer to the class description to understand the main dish and side dish(es) that will be prepared in the class. You may choose to prepare an appetizer, salad or additional side dish. We also offer add-on items (bread, dessert, wine) for purchase.
Q: What if my dinner party is larger than (4) guests?
A: You can add-on food for an additional (4) guests = (8) guests total. The fee for this is $75.
Location: Classes are held at Braise Culinary School, located at Braise Restaurant, 1101 S. 2nd Street, Milwaukee, WI, 53204.
