Teen Culinary Bootcamp


Know a teen or young adult heading off to college who is unprepared to cook for themselves? Or, do you know one who is simply interested in expanding their culinary skills from talented professionals?

From Tuesday, August 14, to Friday, August 17, we will host our Teen Culinary Bootcamp, where we will take on 12 students ages 14 through 21 to complete a four-day boot camp style culinary seminar to expand their skills in hands-on workshops.

Cost: $160

Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day

Class Schedule:

  • Class 1: The boot camp will start with the basics of knife skills to set students up for success. Students will also learn to make hearty salads, salad dressings and all about vegetables.

  • Class 2: Students will learn about pasta, various egg-based dishes, and casseroles.

  • Class 3: Soups, stews, and chilis.

  • Class 4: Students will have the option to learn about various ethnic foods including ramen, tamales, and curry.

Classes are held at Braise Culinary School, located at Braise Restaurant, 1101 S. 2nd Street, Milwaukee, WI.

*A one-week (7 days) cancellation notice is required for a refund. No refunds or credits will be issued with less than one weeks cancellation. If you are unable to attend, you may send someone in your place. If Braise must cancel a class for any reason, we will notify students in a timely manner and provide a full refund.
